A haven of peace in the hustle and bustle of the capital, what a delight! The Retiro is a must, especially on Sundays.
The Retiro is the lung of Madrid: green and calm, it is very pleasant to walk around. Musicians offer themselves in spectacle (notably on Sundays), thus mixing melodies and rhythms with the colors of the park. There is also a lake where you can rent boats and pedal boats, a bicycle path, a football and basketball court... The park was built in the 17th century and is very characteristic of the baroque gardens of the House of Austria. It is also home to the Velázquez Palace and the Crystal Palace, annexes of the Reina Sofia Museum.

très belle balade à faire... on accede au Palacio de cristal avec son étang et les cygnes, puis jusqu'au lac où l'on peut faire de la barque! c'est superbe et pas cher du tout!!
