SABATINI GARDENS
The magnificent French gardens of the Royal Palace, or the promise of a stroll out of time (and bustle!).
At the foot of the Royal Palace, the magnificent French-style gardens, named in honour of one of the architects of the Royal Palace, opened in the 1930s on the site of the palace's stables. In front of the palace's north façade, the fountains, sculptures and geometric style give the gardens a neoclassical style. On nearly two hectares, this is one of the best spots in the Spanish capital at sunset time. But above all, between two visits, a short walk offers a little welcome calm. Concerts are organised in summer.
