FUNDACIÓN MAPFRE
A cultural center housed in a superb building in Madrid, presenting numerous temporary exhibitions of the highest quality.
For the past three decades, the Mapfre Foundation has been housed in a magnificent nineteenth-century building (between 1881 and 1884) built by the architect Agustín Ortiz de Villajos for the Duchess of Medina de las Torres. This cultural center offers numerous temporary exhibitions of the highest quality and regularly showcases artists from the 19th and 20th centuries. The vast majority of the exhibitions, often in collaboration with major foreign museums, feature drawings, photographs, paintings or sculptures.
