CASA MIRA
The turróns of Luis Mira have been all the rage since 1842. Not to be missed by the gourmands!
Self-proclaimed as doing the best turrón in Spain, it is in any case the best in Madrid. The proof? Under the reign of Isabel II, Casa Mira was the supplier to... the royal family! But the shop, which has kept its delicious atmosphere of yesteryear, has been delighting the whole city since 1855.... Originally, the turróns by Luis Mira have been all the rage since 1842, when he set up shop on a small stall in the Plaza Mayor. Six generations later, it is still a must-see for gourmands who settle in Madrid.
