Time difference Madrid

No time difference between Spain and France. That said, the pace of life in Madrid is totally different from ours, especially in the summer. Between 2pm and 5pm, everything is idle: it's lunch and nap time.

Enjoying yourself Madrid

Beware of the Madrid time difference! Here, people eat late, and restaurants rarely start serving before 1pm. The same applies in the evening, when you don't dine before 9pm, but it often goes on until midnight.

Take a break Madrid

Bars open early, as early as late afternoon, and often close very late. It must be said that in Madrid, many bars turn into concert halls, which in turn can become clubs. Classical bars close between 2 and 3 am.

Small shops are generally open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8.30pm. Larger stores are open non-stop until 10pm.

Get out Madrid

Madrid never sleeps. You'll always find a place to go out. Mind you, Madrileños love a long pub-crawl, and the atmosphere in the discos doesn't rise until 2am.
