Founded in 1485, it is considered one of the oldest hospitals in Europe. San Ignacio de Loyola serviced the people of the crossing. The inner courtyard is an example of wooden corrala. In front of the hospital, a narrow passage will take you to the court of the synagogue that the Jews had in Alcalá until their expulsion in 1492.
