New management at the helm, but maintaining the formula that has made this popular restaurant such a success: friendly service, delicious typical cuisine and low prices. You'll taste one of the best bolo do caco tested in the capital. On the menu: grilled limpet, espada with garlic and white wine or banana, beef kebab with bay leaf, fresh market fish and homemade desserts (special mention for the passion fruit flan!). The decor has remained frozen in time... One of the best addresses in the old town!

I found this restaurant through recommendations on a Facebook group. You would not know it’s there from the outside but everything was really good. We didn’t make a reservation for lunch but when we arrived they were full. It took them a couple of minutes to organize a table for us, so just wait if you need to, it’s definitely worth your while. I had the prawns peri peri and they were the best I have ever eaten, albeit really hot, very tasty. The mains come with loads of sides, so I wouldn’t order too much either.

Excellente adresse
