REID’S PALACE * * * * *
A palace with a magnificent British decor, offering 160 rooms, 3 swimming pools, tennis courts and 2 massage rooms.
With its magnificent garden and sobritish decor, this palace bears no resemblance to international luxury standards. Founded in the 19th century by a Scotsman, the emblematic Reid's has kept its human scale (160 rooms all told). Three swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, a sauna, a famous tea time, two massage rooms and spa treatments for a rejuvenating cure. We look with curiosity at the photos of celebrities who have passed through here: Churchill, actors, princes, but also a few dictators including Salazar and the Cuban Batista.
