Competent young guides offer walking tours or sea trips to meet the fauna, flora and geological formations of Madeira. Careful and documented observation of birds (including Grant's hawk, Madeira petrel, Madeira tree chaffinch and Trocaz pigeon), insects and marine mammals is well within their remit. A specific tour is dedicated to the Madeira Petrel which can be observed at night (between 20h30-21h and 0h30-1h). The guides speak English and Portuguese.
