João Carlos Abreu, journalist by profession, businessman and poet traveller, former dedicated Regional Secretary for Tourism and Culture of Madeira, now a converted actor-artist, opens the doors of his Ali Baba's cave. A kind of overcrowded curiosity cabinet (we don't know where to look!) housed in a mansion. Objects of art, purchases, personal or ceremonial gifts, a collection of more than 14,000 works of art from all over the world. The Casa de Chá (tea room), nestled in a lovely garden, is perfect for a sweet break.
