FAJÃ DOS PADRES
Located in Cabo Girào, with a number of fully-equipped cottages and a large solarium serving as a dependency on the pebble beach.
The Fãja "of the priests" owes its name to the Jesuits who lived there. They are the ones who introduced the malvasia vine to Madeira. Below, on this strip of land facing the sea, there are a few fully equipped cottages and a large solarium that serves as an outbuilding to this pebble beach with transparent waters. It is also an agricultural property par excellence: mango, avocado, banana, vine, papaya, cayenne cherry are grown here. Traditional restaurant very recommendable. Spectacular access by cable car (free for residents).
