The concept is original: first you stop by the butcher (owned by the family) to choose your meat and side dishes (fried corn, sweet potatoes, avocado salad). Then cross the road and eat in a room decorated with logs (splendid view). Typical, succulent Madeiran cuisine. Try the cheese skewer with herbs. We recommend the house specialty: beef brochette. The side dishes are grown on the family's own land. A slice of local life! Attentive service, reasonable bill: perfect!
