Although this Manueline-style church, built in the 15th century, was completely rebuilt in 1639, it still has a beautiful Moorish ceiling and a Mudéjar-style choir. There are some outstanding religious works to be admired in its interior: enjoy its beautiful goldsmith's and silversmith's work and sacred jewellery from the 16th and 18th centuries, but especially its ebony tabernacle, finely inlaid with silver, which was a gift from King Manuel I.
