Among the best tables in Santana. Far from mass tourism, this friendly restaurant serves all its dishes in terracotta pots. After the starter-plate of assorted dishes, there is coq au vin, simmered kid, mutton stew, octopus and cod in olive oil and onionade, all accompanied by rice, cabbage and cooked potatoes. It's good, the products are of quality. Excellent homemade desserts, including the surprising and delicious fresh pumpkin cheese, requeijão com abóbora, and mango mousse.

An establishment that is worth the detour: sober and elegant setting, a warm welcome, and local cuisine of the ordinary. We took your advice and we were not be disappointed!
To have tried a number of tables on Madeira, I say without hesitate that this restaurant is one of the best tables in the archipelago. The welcome is simple, friendly but friendly, the setting is pleasant, but most of the success of this address is found at table! The dishes are typical and tasty, and very copious what does not spoil anything. One of the possible starters, made up of a selection of tapas local, could fix the narrowest stomachs very well. The fish, our choice was made on a espadata way fisherman, fine tasty and full of the sun with Madeira, and a cod shepherd's, country but just as interesting. Note that these two well-stocked dishes, which is their vegetable selection, could easily be served for four people, that would not have shocked person! This delicious meal was completed by a Portuguese white wine, Alentejo with qualities of famous Burgundy. As often in Madeira, the desserts however did not make us. We did not have in any case any more room... To accompany the bill, note the charming waitress discover two liqueurs, accompanied by small cakes and jam figs house. In short, a perfect delight for a remarkable value for money. Recommended without doubt!
