At the end of the small street that goes to the side of the pharmacy, Manuel Marcelino, a taxi driver, and his wife, offer a dozen beautiful rooms for rent. Good welcome. Just a few steps from the centre in a quiet area, a nice surprise at the inhabitant's home to discover Madeira in a different way (with vehicle and driver, optional, if needed). Some comfort in the rooms, small but nice. Very clean. Simple breakfast, but very correct. Dinners served by reservation. Auxiliary heating. Reception in French. At that price, a good plan!
