At an altitude of 1,400 m, Casa Abrigo houses a bar and restaurant. The exterior is that of a traditional mountain house. The bar is plain but well-stocked with poncha, while the restaurant is truly that of a rustic chalet, with carefully concocted regional specialties (açorda, pepper steak...) cooked over a wood fire. The menu is traditional, and eating grilled fish or roast suckling pig at this altitude, in the company of hikers in anoraks, will provide you with a remarkable souvenir.
