THE GUERRIN MILL
Water mill located in Saint-Julien-Chapteuil, dating from the beginning of the century and which ceased its activity in the 1960s.
Water mills, fed by springs, are quite common in Meygal. The mill of Guérin is one of them. Dating from the beginning of the 20th century, its builder gave it its name. Until the 1960s (when the mill ceased activity), millers occupied it continuously. At the beginning of the 80s, the association "Lecture et Loisirs" of Saint-Julien took charge of the restoration of the mill and the development of its surroundings. The premises are no longer open to visitors, as the Saint-Julien-Chapteuil tourist office has cancelled its operating lease with the owner of the premises.
