This family from mountainous Abruzzo has been concocting the same regional grandmotherly recipes ( casalingas) for over 40 years in this old-fashioned restaurant with its mosaic floor and authentic facade. For palates tired of Roman specialties, it's the discovery of another Italian terroir (including the inevitable bucatini amatriciana and tonnarelli agli abruzzi) washed down with equally regional wines. The outdoor terrace in the pedestrian streets is a very pleasant bonus. Finally, try a regional digestif.

This place is great, the food was very good but not perfect. The waiters however were very nice to us.

Ce restaurant authentique est très bon, la cuisine est faite avec des produits frais. Le service est simple et sympathique. Jamais décue.

Visited here based on travel blog recommendation. Was a bit disappointed with the food. My carbonara was too salty, my wife's steak was seasoned well but the meat was really chewy, my daughter's roast chicken and pasta was very dry. One really good thing was my other daughter's spaghetti w marinara. It was maybe the best I've ever tasted so we all ate some of it. Stick with the spaghetti and house wine.
