This small Sicilian restaurant is ideally located just a few steps from the imperial forums, housed in a small, obscure, but very cool room in the summer whose entrance is discreet, from large stairs. Kitchen and family service, goguenardes of the boss, beautiful plates at reasonable prices, the address is perfect for a stopover at noon. Delicious antipasti plate.

Tal vez no sea la mejor comida de toda Roma, pero es un pedacito de mi historia con esta ciudad. No concibo volver sin pasar por el Melo. Esta ha sido mi tercera vez y no pierde ni un ápice de su encanto e identidad. Ojalá poder volver en mi próxima visita.

Ich hatte Antipasti und Spaghetti Frutti di Mare. Es wurde nicht an Muscheln und Krabben gespart und hat gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist etwas aus der Zeit gefallen, versprüht aber persönlichen Charm. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmehrksam und humorvoll.
