TONNARELLO
Pasta alla carbonara, pinsa and polpette: everything here is delicious and at very fair prices for the Trastevere district.
This restaurant is as much appreciated for its beautiful terrace in front of a church under an arbour as for its dishes. The menu features Roman specialties such as pasta carbonara or cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper) served directly from the pan. You'll also find some very good pinse romane, typical crispy pizzas. Continuous service is a strong point, but the restaurant, right in the middle of the Trastevere district, is very busy! Try to arrive early, around 12 or 7 pm, to avoid waiting too long.
