The cuisine here is popular, generous and tasty, in the art of the recipes of yesteryear. House specialties include the classic bucatini all'amatriciana (pasta with a tomato-based sauce, dried pork cheek and pecorino), as well as a wide selection of Roman-style fried dishes. In keeping with tradition, the menu will feature quinto quarto (offal) on Wednesday, gnocchi on Thursday, cod on Friday and tripe on Saturday. The wine list is dedicated to hand-picked Lazio vintages. Don't forget to book!

Ristorante nel centro di Roma che avevo già provato qualche anno fa. Ambiente classico e cibo ottimo. Ho preso dei tonnarelli cacio e pepe, buonissimi, e dell'abbraccio con carfiofi squisito. Personale molto gentile e disponibile.
È stata una conferma.

Sono tornato a distanza di un paio d'anni e ho trovato la stessa qualità e la stessa professionalità di allora.
Cibi deliziosi cucinati molto bene, i fritti sono leggeri e per niente unti, primi piatti da leccarsi i baffi e abbacchio con carciofi da applauso. Servizio impeccabile e proprietaria gentile e molto cordiale. Prezzi sicuramente adeguati al tipo di locale e alla sua posizione. Consigliatisimo

It's a nice place. I'd stick with the all'amatriciana, which I normally order. Last time I got spaghetti alla carbonara and was a bit disappointed. The pasta itself wasn't the best and was too al dente (it's definitely not normal that the spaghetto was hard and chewy). I give 4 stars because other times other dishes I've ordered were ok.
One detail to mention is that you can't change the type of pasta. For example my friend is allergic to eggs, but wanted cacio e pepe which is with tonnarello on the menu (so fresh pasta with eggs) and they refused to change it.
