This restaurant in Testaccio has been adopted by Carlo Petrini, founder of Slow Food (an awareness movement against junk food). Indeed, he would have described it as his favorite restaurant in Rome. Since then, the place has become legendary among gastronomes who come here to look for traditional cuisine made with simple and fresh local products. In summer, a patio and a terrace make it a very pleasant place. It is said to be one of the best carbonara in Rome. A sure value that is always successful: reservation recommended.

Ottimo ristorante a Testaccio a fianco al caffè latino. Ho mangiato molto bene un carciofo alla giudia poi le fettuccine alla vignarello con piselli fave carciofi guanciale croccante!!! Buonissime!!!
Poi una cicoria ripassata buona però troppo salata! Per finire crostata con crema e visciole eccezionale!.
Ci tornerò volentieri lo consiglio vivamente ovviamente

Credo il miglior ristorante di cucina romana in cui io abbia mai mangiato...tutto ottimo, dal servizio ai singoli piatti. Carciofo, carbonara e e crostata ricotta e vescicole da 10 [ cum laude]. Davvero eccellente!
