The interior is superb, with vines everywhere and many bottles of wine exposed. Breakfast is served on a very flowery table, with well-troussés dishes from local cuisine. A classic card, and an impressive choice of Roman and Italian wines. In summer, the Osteria serves fresh drinks and fresh fruit.

our group of four ate here on a busy Friday night in Trastavere. the food, service and atmosphere didn't disappoint. we had a lovely meal and the staff were super friendly and efficient. we would recommend this La Canonica, especially to avoid the long queues at other 'famous' restaurants and still eat lovely food ????????
