In the heart of the Testaccio, this restaurant, which is more than a century old, is the cradle of a certain Roman cuisine, since it is here that traditional dishes such as the famous coda alla vaccinara (beef tail with tomato sauce) or abbacchio alla cacciatora (lamb) were created. Five generations later, the heir to the Mariani family still offers these dishes of popular origin, as well as others that are lighter and undoubtedly better adapted to contemporary palates.
