La fiaschetteri, in via della Croce, halfway between piazza di Spagna and via del Corso, is a rather cramped bistro with photos on the walls that you hardly notice. And yet, in this neighborhood, it's well worth a visit. Few dishes are served here (which is often a sign of quality), and mainly great Roman classics, including buccatini all'amatriciana, straccetti alla rucola and saltimbocca. The meal ends with a tiramisù. All to be enjoyed on a charming terrace.
