A good Italian cuisine, mainly built around Tuscan specialities.

Nino remains as always the chicest restaurant in Rome. The type of italian food is Tuscan. Great food, great service, and a great people watching place - by that I mean watching the Roman aristocracy. The only draw back is a less than adventurous wine list and awful wines glasses. Meat over fish in choice. Enjoy.

Nada de especial a comida, o ravioli parecia desses que a gente compra no mercado, o recheio parecia uma farinha…..o que eu faço em casa é muito melhor, não recomendo!!!

This review is not for you,
this review is to keep this gem free from customers who don’t know what they’re getting into.
Da Nino is a owner run roman institution for intellectuals, discrete upper class and tourists who know.
The food is traditional, professionally well done and simple.
No crudo of whatnot, Pasta drowning in sauce or Espumas of nothingness.
Service is of the dying breed.
Means: professional, efficient and fast
= italian style.
No “al fresco” (mostly a bad sign)dining on the street.
Vibes are straight out a Fellini movie.
And if you think it’s a good idea to go out in Europe in athleisure, please visit another restaurant.

While on holiday in Rome, I passed Nino as they were closing for the afternoon. I called and was fortunate to secure a reservation for one at 7:30 pm on the same day. As a solo traveler, feeling welcomed is important. From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel like royalty. The wait staff checked on me often and provided amazing service. I started off with the artichokes and they were phenomenal! The artichokes were tender and full of flavor. I ordered the sea-bass and my waiter graciously deboned it for me. Every lady needs her greens, so it was important to order the arugula salad and add the balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Although I am not a dessert kind of lady, I ordered the Tiramisu, and it was delicious! I felt so welcomed. The wait staff delivered biscotti’s and a serving of grappa. When you walk in, “Bonjourno” and a smile is very impactful. The service is impeccable! Bon Appetit!
