Beware, this is not the place where you will find peace and quiet! The Luzzi family, from generation to generation, has run this trattoria since 1945. The current owner, assisted by his daughter, is animated and has fun with the numerous customers in this area located next to the Colosseum. The dishes are good and you can find the traditional Roman specialties (like the classic trippa alla romana or the no less famous coda alla vaccinara). To devour also, pizzas cooked scrupulously on wood fire. A good address in the neighborhood.

Pasamos 6 días en Roma, de las 13 comidas que hicimos, este sitio nos pareció el mejor. Personal muy atento y educado, comida increíble, lo mejor la lasaña y los ravioli. Hablan bien español, y al parecer les caímos bien porque se equivocaron en una pizza y nos la regalaron, se agradece.
Ya no tienen la pizza de nutella, un chasco.

Lovely restaurant. Bustling and convivial, all tables close together - so chat to your neighbours. Great food, friendly service and prices that you can’t argue with. Arrive a bit early if you’re hungry because you may have to queue.

Racconto la mia esperienza che può risultare inutile ma siamo in un paese democratico e dico ciò che penso.
Ero a Roma ieri sera per un esame universitario e decisi di andarmi a mangiare una pizza per cena da solo perché a casa non avevo cibo.
Chiedo un solo posto a sedere e mi guardano già stranito come se fossi pazzo perché da solo (secondo loro) non si può cenare.
Ero ad un angolo e, uno dei camerieri, chiede dove potevo andare a sedermi essendo da solo.
La risposta è stata: andasse a f…o
Io ero stanco, erano le 22 e non mi andava di discutere e cercare altro ma nel personale manca proprio rispetto e gentilezza verso i clienti. Servizio pessimo. Avevo sotto i miei piedi tutti i vetri di bottiglie rotte rischiando anche di tagliarmi. Non ci tornerò mai più. Ah, e di pizze migliori a Roma rispetto a quella che ho mangiato ieri sera che era calabrese misto nervoso si trovano e anche tante visto che la mia era anche Cruda per quello che ho pagato.
