Just across the street from the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, this rustically-decorated restaurant offers good antipasti, excellent seafood risotto and famous recipes such as linguine alla Reviglio (shrimp, tomato and brandy!) in a slightly old-fashioned atmosphere. The fish is fresh, straight from Ostia, and the plates are full! We eat while looking at the photos of the many artists who have passed through here since 1962. Service is friendly and efficient.

L' antipasto della casa era un misto di affettati industriali, i primi e i secondi della tradizione romana erano discreti. Il dolce consiglio di non prenderlo. Pessimo il tiramisù. Per un antipasto condiviso, un primo, un dolce con vino della casa e un amaro abbiamo speso 31 euro. Mi sembra eccessivo per un locale un po' age'

È sempre un piacere mangiare da Cannavotta. I suoi primi si fanno ricordare, come pure i carciofi. Parcheggio pubblico presente di fronte al ristorante, noi abbiamo preferito i mezzi pubblici. Lo conosco da oltre un decennio e rivedo con piacere i proprietari che ti accolgono con calore.
Appena possibile ci tornerò.
