Trattoria Monti is a discreet restaurant located just behind the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, with a small, inconspicuous entrance, but its dishes are well known to Romans. Prices are fairly reasonable for the quality of the food served and the location. A few à la carte dishes of market cuisine, often rabbit or pork à la romaine, calamari and other fish from the catch of the day, all carefully presented and generously served. A fine address with a pleasant welcome in this tourist district.

안쪽에 자리가 4테이블 넘게 비었음에도 예약이라고 출입문 바로 뒤에 앉히더니 다음에 오는 고객들은 안쪽으로 저희랑 같은 동양인은 또 출입문 쪽으로 앉히더라구요. 분위기는 전반적으로 커피만 먹기도 하고 앉아 대화하는 느낌이였고 음식은 좀 짰어요. 별로 추천하고싶지 않아요~

Rome, a magical city filled with so many excellent restaurants. My money can’t endorse this particular restaurant. We had very pleasant experiences at other restaurants during our week-long stay in Rome.
