Roscioli is a must in the neighborhood. Open since 1824, it's one of the oldest bakeries in Rome. It's a veritable institution that's impossible to miss, given the long queues on the sidewalk some days! Don't be put off by the constant stream of tourists: this is one of the best forni in Rome, offering excellent pizza by the slice. Their pizza bianca, in particular, is fine and crisp. You must also try their mozzarella in carrozza, a classic to be discovered.
