Gabriele Bonci set up his bread and pizza oven in this little store tucked between a barbershop and a drugstore. And it was from here that he conquered Rome and the Romans, so much so that he even hosted the best forno competition on Italian television! Few tourists venture down this one-way street. Yet it's here that you'll find some of the best - and certainly most famous - pizza al taglio in the Italian capital. Refined dough and choice ingredients are the hallmarks of Bonci's success.

It took us 50 min just to place the order and I had 19 numbers ahead of me. I even went in an “tried” to pre-select what i would want to have, but when the time came non of the pizzas i was thinking of were available. So i just picked random ones of the ones available.
It’s quite expensive and you buy them by weight. Even if you ask for smaller piece they kind of don’t listen/care and you end up with the size they give you. The pizza is nice. Not the best and nothing like the hype people are giving it.
No place to sit and dine and the soft drinks is like a fake version of Coca Cola for the same price.
Probably my first and only visit.
30€ (excluded drinks) is what i paid for 8 small pieces.
