My friend and I stayed in the twin room at crossing condotti for 2 nights and we had the absolute best stay! The concierge was so welcoming and knowledgeable and gave us great tips for our few days in Rome. The room and bathroom were exquisitely clean, the AC worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable, and the place itself was beautiful. It also smelled immaculate. Every time you enter the building from the street and you open the main door, you are greeted with a fantastic and clean scent that is all over the hotel. We loved it. They also have a little kitchenette in the common area with a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks on the counter. The external doors as well as the rooms all have individual keys so we felt extremely safe. We were even allowed to leave our luggage there for a few hours after we checked out so we wouldn’t have to carry them with us while we waited 4 hours to board our train. The location was also perfect, right across the street from the Spanish steps and the Spagna metro station. I would absolutely come back, it was the perfect place to spend our very first nights ever in Italy!

Stayed at Crossing Condotti for two nights and would recommend to anyone. A beautiful boutique hotel. Location was the best of all my stays in Rome. Our room was beautiful. But the best bit was our host, Gerald who made our stay special.

I can't encourage you strongly enough to stay at this hotel and we had part of our luggage stolen - allow me to explain.

My 4 kids and I arrived at the hotel - it's bit of a non-traditional hallway entrance. We checked in with Gerald who could not be a nicer - more precessional person. At some point a thief came in and stole my sons backpack which had about $3,000 worth of electronics. We figured this out after realizing the backpack was not delivered to our room with the rest of the luggage.

Gerald felt terrible, the owner Carlotta reached out to me expressing her concern, it was a tough situation. However, Gerald met us to go the police station to file a report (we were surprised to find this type of thing happens about 10x a day) and we were assured they would make things right. I was skeptical but hopeful.

Bottom line is we returned to the states a couple weeks later, replaced the contents of the backpack, I sent Carlotta a list of the replacement items and cost and my banking info - it came in at about $2,700. A few days later Carlotta's husband had wired us the funds. Unbelievable!!!

Even if you do not have a story like ours you will be so happy you stayed at this hotel - it's fantastic - truly! 1st class place and 1st class people. You just do not find this combination easily today. We will be back and hope you give them a try - you won't regret it!

5 Star Service!!!
Myself and my partner stayed here at the end of March/early April. The location is fantastic, as you are within walking distance of all the main attractions including the Spanish Steps, Trevvi Fountain, the Colosseum and the Vatican.

Gerald was amazing! So knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. This stay was to celebrate my birthday and our engagement and when Gerald found out he surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room! He always greeted us with a smile and lots of espressos!

The airport transfers, which were organised through the hotel were well worth booking too!

An absolutely fantastic holiday!!!!!

My wife and I stayed at Crossing Condotti for the last stop on our honeymoon. The location, a block away from the Spanish Steps, is fantastic and we felt in the heart of the city and accessible to everything. The rooms are simple but well adorned and lovely, and we had a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for us to mark the occasion. It's a small thing, but the incredibly well stocked complimentary minifridge and shared kitchen space feel very luxurious and make it that much more of a comforting stay. Gerald was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects, and the recommendations on the website (particularly for breakfast) were excellent and thoughtful.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon. Absolutely the best hotel we've stayed at in Italy so far. Location is so central, just steps to the Spanish steps and amazing shopping and restaurants. Service is fantastic & rooms super clean. Great water pressure (key for me) and free drinks in your rooms that get restocked daily (water, soft drinks, sparking water). Will definitely stay here again the next time we're back in Rome
