Please avoid!
Room (106) has an unpleasant smell
Shower right next to the bed (Yes. Inside bedroom)
Even worse, water leaks from the corner and the bottom of the shower
Some appliances require replacement (check the hairdryer)
Dusty place, stained glass of shower, rusted chair
Some towels are dirty
I killed 2 flies/ insects in the room (windows were closed all the time)
No direct elevator access to first floor
Poor soundproofing. Thin walls + room is next to another toilet outside. I heard peeing and flushing and everything. Noisy at night too
Room is dark. Facing the back of the building + another building = no sunlight
Hard to notice the entrance at first as there was no sign except a small one after going inside the building
It’s basically in a really old residential building with no security guard. Make sure your neighbours lock the entrance door to the building too. The access to 1st floor of the ‘hotel’ itself cannot be locked anyways.
In short, can’t believe I paid 643eur (+24eur city tax) and stayed there for 4 nights at the end of October (which isn’t high season anymore). One of the worst in my life. Please avoid.

My daughter and I just spent 8 wonderful days in Rome, made even more special by the management, staff and services provided by Chic & Town. A special thanks to Stefano Ghezzi - the General Manager, who went over and beyond to ensuring our stay was comfortable. Rooms were very clean and well thought out. Bed SO comfortable. Special requests (e.g., Netflix) were quickly accommodated. The location was perfect! Quiet and safe, and central. We can't say enough and highly recommend Chic & Town! They made our trip to this beautiful city a dream.

Very helpful staff made our stay very nice. It also provides a simple explanation using a map of Rome. Conveniently located near the Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna. Room security is fine.

TOP!
