Hotel with 88 rooms with ancient charm and modern comfort in Rome.

One of the historical addresses in the world of Roman palaces, the Hotel d'Angleterre boasts a long tradition of hospitality dating back to the 16th century. The large number of British guests earned him his nickname "d'Angleterre". Today, it attracts a well-to-do clientele seduced by its position at the foot of the Trinité des Monts stairs and by an impeccable quality of service. The 88 rooms combine old-fashioned charm and modern comfort with style. Track down offers on the Internet that may be interesting!

Nice hotel located at a great location! However, there are a couple of areas for improvement given that they’re considered as a “five” star hotel. Despite of my husband’s hyatt status, our room wasn’t upgraded, unfortunately, because the hotel was full (according to the front desk). Our room was pretty small. In fact, it was the smallest room we stayed so far in Italy, e.g., Milan and Florence. The room was on the 3rd floor (#381) yet we could still hear noises from outside when we were trying to fall asleep at night and in the early morning. The noise woke us up early in the morning (before 7am, maybe due to dumpster/ street cleaning? not sure), which helped us start the days early ;) Another issue was the bathroom- it was very difficult to shower (without making a mess). The shower head was positioned at an odd location and didn’t drain well. To end on a positive note, I would like to give special shout outs to housekeeping and the staff serving breakfast. Breakfast was great (appreciated the selection of fresh fruits), and we enjoyed the made-to-order scrambled eggs, omelette, which were nicely presented.

I recently had breakfast at the restaurant located near the Spanish Steps, and unfortunately, I had a very negative experience. While the location was convenient, the service was extremely poor, particularly from the manager in charge. Additionally, the food was very average, and I felt that the premium charged for the meal was too high given the quality.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and would advise others to avoid it. If you are looking for a good breakfast spot near the Spanish Steps, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Rooms are super tiny and dirty. We found dirty sock ???? and a slipper from someone else. And hairs in the shower towels.

No housekeeping service after 10 pm, and very rude supervisor.

Would never give the hotel more than 3 stars.

The breakfast was amazing and the location. Everything else a complete nightmare. Very noisy the rooms, and disgustingly dirty.

I wanted to write this review as I used my hyatt points for the stay. It was 35k points per night in the peak season for something I checked would have cost me $900 per night as the location is awesome and it is an Italian style boutique hotel. The room and the service was exceptional, breakfast was included. Since the room is located right in the shopping district, outside noises can be heard late night but we slept comfortably after turning the white noise on. Something that was interesting to note was becuase it’s an historic hotel, irons are not provided/allowed in the room so make sure to bring your electronic steamers

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on the 3rd floor. After reading reviews we were a little concerned about the rooms but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and nice view of the square we got. The staff at this hotel are amazing - friendly, welcoming, thoughtful, and kind. We also enjoyed the breakfast selection. We highly recommend the hotel. We used our Hyatt points for this stay and had a pleasant experience. This is also a very centrally located hotel to all major attractions in Rome. Cheers!
