Hotel with 88 rooms with ancient charm and modern comfort in Rome.

One of the historical addresses in the world of Roman palaces, the Hotel d'Angleterre boasts a long tradition of hospitality dating back to the 16th century. The large number of British guests earned him his nickname "d'Angleterre". Today, it attracts a well-to-do clientele seduced by its position at the foot of the Trinité des Monts stairs and by an impeccable quality of service. The 88 rooms combine old-fashioned charm and modern comfort with style. Track down offers on the Internet that may be interesting!

Stayed 5 nights. Fantastic location. Wonderful traditional hotel with lovely seating areas. Fabulous small bar. Most of all though it was the staff that made our stay special. From reception to bar/restaurant/door staff, nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly. Thank you.

We stayed for three nights in May 2023 there were 8 of us so we booked four deluxe rooms at a cost of over €800 each room per night, total cost over €12,800. While the location is perfect and service pleasant the hotel is a building site. Our room was tiny with no view other than scaffolding and building materials see photos and extremely poor value. Breakfast was very poor in the tiny dining area, the waitress was miserable. On arrival water was pouring through the ceiling on fourth floor due to torrential rain. There was banging and drilling and general building noise throughout the day.

We should have been advised of building works when we booked.

We were all very disappointed. Stay at the Russie.

Staff was amazing!! Very accommodating, friendly, professional and helpful. They made a couple of great dinner recommendations and gave us tips for getting around the city and visiting tourist attractions. Breakfast had a great selection.

They are in the middle of renovations. Our first room was a very nice and spacious renovated room but faced scaffolding. When we asked for a room with a window, they moved us to a street view room which was not renovated but very comfortable as well.

Overall, a great hotel! Great location right by the Spanish steps and short walk to the trevi fountain/pantheon. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to return! We highly recommend!
