Charming, romantic hotel in a historical area of Rome.

Hotel Domus Tiberina is a small and charming establishment where you are warmly welcomed. The old building, tucked away in a pedestrian street in this historic district, dates from the 16th century and was renovated in 2011. The terracotta mosaic floors, the exposed beams, the classic tapestries... everything contributes to revisit the past, in the greatest comfort. Breakfast is offered in one of the two bars nearby, for a real Roman stay. The ideal place to stay in a quiet area, but just a few steps away from the bustle of Trastevere.

Il signor Roberto ci ha accolto con molta cortesia e premura. Arrivavo da un lungo volo intercontinentale e gentilmente mi ha dato la stanza già’ al mattino presto appena arrivata. Posizione strategica, al centro di Trastevere. Stanza pulita e accogliente. Bagno con doccia nuova confortevole. Un’ ottima impressione, torneremo senz’ altro.

The location is unmatched! I was there during a layover and had everything within a 2 minute walk. It’s incredibly convenient.

More great than the location was the staff. The man who tends the desk at night was kind & helpful. He even walked us to his friend’s restaurant and told him to take care of us. We got treated like family!

The next morning, The manager, offered us free coffee & breakfast, while we chatted a bit.

It was all a very pleasant experience. If I go back to Rome, I know exactly where I will stay.

El baño tiene muchas oportunidades de mejora. Le colocan cerradura y no sirve. La ducha no tiene puerta y se moja todo el baño.
El piso de la habitación es reciclado o está muy gastado y no se ve limpieza.
La neverita no funciona. Y a la noche que vuelve uno a descansar ya no hay a quien pedir ayuda para cambiarla.
No es justo ya que el precio es alto por esa habitación casi 200 €.
