Charming, romantic hotel in a historical area of Rome.

Hotel Domus Tiberina is a small and charming establishment where you are warmly welcomed. The old building, tucked away in a pedestrian street in this historic district, dates from the 16th century and was renovated in 2011. The terracotta mosaic floors, the exposed beams, the classic tapestries... everything contributes to revisit the past, in the greatest comfort. Breakfast is offered in one of the two bars nearby, for a real Roman stay. The ideal place to stay in a quiet area, but just a few steps away from the bustle of Trastevere.

Esperienza molto negativa. Ho prenotato una singola al telefono, e una volta arrivato mi ritrovo una "camera" di forse 3 mq ricavata probabilmente da uno sgabuzzino; la porta finestra che dà su un pozzo luce era rotta (non si chiudeva), quindi ho passato la notte al fresco. Ovviamente di queste cose non ero stato avvisato alla prenotazione.
Come se non bastasse, all'arrivo non c'era acqua calda, quindi ho dovuto fare una bella doccia ghiacciata, e in bagno mancava la carta igienica.
Siamo ben lontani dagli standard minimi per un hotel.
