The old building, which has been completely renovated, still shows some character traits such as original stone walls that give it its character. The 27 rooms have all the necessary comfort, those facing the street have double windows for better sound insulation. A rich breakfast will give you a good start to the day. The ideal place to relax, a few minutes from the greatest sites of ancient Rome.

The BIG negative was no A/C in the room (80 deg F outside) and has little airflow when you open the two single double pane windows.
I didn’t sleep the two nights that i stayed (thin walls, neighbors returning from an evening put at 2am and talking loudly, drilling on some building where the sound was evident at 8am in the morning, and squawking pigeons.
From other reviews I’ve read, seems this is a typical situations with many other visitors put in the dungeon rooms. I think this is a bait and switch situation. Over priced and not a 4-star hotel.
