Hotel with 2 restaurants, one of which is starred, with spacious rooms with private terrace.

Just a stone's throw from the Vatican, on Monte Mario with an extraordinary view, this hotel offers maximum comfort. Rooms are spacious, with private terraces. This is one of Rome's most remarkable hotels, a 5-star with impeccable service. The hotel was built in 1963, then completely restored with all the standards of modern luxury. Two restaurants: La Pergola and L'Uliveto as well as a lounge bar and tea room, the Tiepolo Lounge. Swimming pools and spa.

I couldn’t even wait until I got to the airport to give this 5 star review. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the property is stunning. What stood out to me the most was the friendliness and attention to detail of the staff. I can tell they took pride in making sure all the guests felt important and respected.

When I arrived at the check in desk I was taken to a special check in desk where I was warmly greeted by a lady who explained in detail everything about my stay and offered me a nice espresso. Her face lit up when I told her that it was my first time in Italy and she gave me suggestions about where to go. I can tell she was honored that I chose Rome and this hotel specifically for my first Italian experience. I know that being friendly is part of the job but my interactions with everyone from the doormen to the concierge service to the restaurant staff to the housekeeping, made my stay special.

The two other things that stood out to me were the spa and the restaurant Uliveto. The breakfast was fantastic but the sunday brunch buffet was out of this world.

Way out of the city center. They should seriously consider having airport shuttles from the hotel.

Rather outdated hotel and facilities. Breakfast
At offer and spread truly laughable for a "Waldorf". This was just bad and disappointing. But they have take away coffee for Americans!

The only open restaurant is well hidden at the basement. Food for dinner was ok, but sitting inside in this restaurant ist really depressing.

Price is not even remotely connected to what you get - you simply cannot take a hilton, slab the Waldorf Astoria logo on it and raise the prices. This is not how this works. Not many guests, more or less deserted.

I basically grew up here as a child, having stayed here numerous times, having eaten here many times, having learned how to play tennis there and having gone to their hairdresser once a month. It made me sad to see what they made out of a lively, legendary Hilton hotel which was always full of people and well visited.

Staying at the Rome Cavalieri was an unparalleled experience of luxury and opulence. From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel, from the stunning décor to the impeccable service, truly exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and offered breathtaking views of the Eternal City. Dining at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant was a culinary journey we’ll never forget, with each dish expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The expansive grounds, including the beautiful outdoor pool and lush gardens, provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. Without a doubt, the Rome Cavalieri is the epitome of luxury hospitality and we cannot wait to return.
