SANT’EUSTACHIO IL CAFFÈ
An institution in Rome, where one of the best coffees in the city is served. Don't look for the coffee machine, it's hidden!
There's no better place for an espresso break in the Pantheon area than this institution, which has been around since 1938. The decor has not changed since then: tourists and Romans alike meet at the old zinc bar to enjoy a coffee religiously selected by the owners, topped with a delicious foam. Don't look for the coffee machine, as it's hidden away to keep the secret of the preparation of one of the city's finest coffees. Beware, if you want to sit on the terrace, you'll have to pay triple. An address not to be missed.
