STADE FLAMINIO
Construit Flaminio was inaugurated on 12 March 1959 on the rubble of the old Flaminio, the National Fascist party Stadium. It welcomes Cisco Calcio Roma, a Roman football team that evolves in the anonymity of the C 2 Series (4 th division), but especially the national rugby team since its integration into the Tournament in 2000. This is the only stage of competition with a capacity of less than 50 000 places. If Italy has majestic loudspeakers for football matches, the choice has focused on this little stadium of barely 25 000 places for rugby. In a country where football is king and rugby occupies a modest place in the sports pantheon, Italian leaders avoid ending up with 50 000 English to support the XV of the Rose in the middle of the Italian capital. And that's been pretty good at Squadra Azzura. During the first meeting of his story in the Tournament, she terrace the Scots (34-20), led by her famous half of opening Diego Dominguez, which scored 29 points. But today the old town of Flaminio has to be renovated, and a project of stade stage aggrandissementdu is under study. Meanwhile, the meetings of the Italian XV were relocated to the Olympic Stadium.
