This church was founded in 755 and was founded in. It was called in the th century "in foro piscium" because, between its entrance and the portico, a fish market was held. Once restored, it seems to us today rather modest, which was not the case in the Middle Ages. It was here that in 1347 Cola Di Rienzo withdrew before taking possession of the Capitol. The arc of brick entry may be the Fifth or the th century. On the facade you will notice remains of th century frescoes. The interior of the church is three naves; one can see a Virgin to the Child and angels from 1450. By leaving, look near the arc replacing two columns of the old portico; An inscription recalls a singular privilege of the Conservatives at the Capitol. They were entitled to the heads of fish that exceeded the length indicated by the stone below the inscription.
