Church with 4 chapels and frescoes representing scenes of martyrdom.

Built between 468 and 483, it is one of the first churches in Christianity. It has a garden surrounded by walls of Roman origin. Original, its circular plan inspired by the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem includes 4 chapels that emerge from the plan to form a cross. Transformed into a school for Jesuits in the 16th century, the building was decorated with frescoes depicting martyrdom scenes. Be careful, very realistic, these illustrations can impress sensitive souls!
