This church was founded in the th century on a place of worship of the Portuguese community of Rome. Transformed by Martino Longhi the Young in 1638, and then Carlo Rainaldi, it has a baroque façade. Inside, the monument dedicated to Alexandre De Sousa executed by Antonio Canova in 1808, Jean-Baptiste's Circumcision of Nicolas Lorrain and a very beautiful organ.
