Church of the Franciscans of Rome with the statue of the Blessed Albertoni.
Saint Francis would have stayed in this place when he came to ask the Pope for recognition of his order. In his cell were kept the pillow and crucifix engraved in the stone. It is still today the Franciscan Church of Rome. Entirely rebuilt in 1680 by Cardinal Pallavicini, in its present form, it is from the 17th century. There is a statue, Blessed Albertoni, by Le Bernin and a Birth of the Virgin by Simon Vouet.
