Basilica in the shape of a cube with four lateral wings and a dome topped by a pinnacle.
The least we can say is that this church in the EUR district is surprising in its architecture. Built in 1937, in the middle of the fascist period, it has the shape of a huge cube to which four lateral wings have been added. The dome is covered with grey slate scales and is topped by a pinnacle with a bronze angel on it. Its construction was interrupted two years after the start of construction due to the war. It was only completed after 1946.
