MUSEO CARLO BILOTTI ARANCIERA DI VILLA BORGHESE
Museum housing a permanent collection of works of art donated by Carlo Bilotti.
The Orangery (Aranciera) hosted the feasts of the Borghese princes in the 18th century. Very damaged during the 1849 cannonades, the building was freely rebuilt and transformed into a winter shelter for citrus fruits. Today, the Orangery is a museum housing the permanent collection of works of art donated by Carlo Bilotti. The donation consists of 22 paintings, sculptures and drawings by well-known artists such as Giorgio De Chirico, Larry Rivers or Andy Warhol.
