Museum that traces the daily life in the Rome of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, in the former monastery of Sant'Egidio.

Located in the former Sant'Egidio monastery, the building was converted into a museum in 1976 and renovated in 2000. The permanent exhibitions are dedicated to daily life in 18th and 19th century Rome. Traditional trades, festive and religious traditions are presented through engravings, watercolors, drawings and wax figures. Temporary exhibitions are also held on the first floor, with an emphasis on photography.
