MUSEO DI ROMA IN TRASTEVERE
Museum that traces the daily life in the Rome of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, in the former monastery of Sant'Egidio.
Located in the former monastery of Sant'Egidio, the building was transformed into a museum in 1976 and renovated in 2000. The permanent exhibitions are dedicated to daily life in 18th and 19th century Rome. Traditional crafts, festive and religious traditions are presented through engravings, watercolours, drawings and wax figures. On the ground floor, temporary exhibitions are also organized, with a strong emphasis on photography.
