Founded in 2016, the Museo della civiltà brings together the collections of former museums: the Prehistoric and Ethnographic Museum, the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions, the Museum of the Early Middle Ages and the Museum of Oriental and Colonial Art. Located in the EUR district, its spaces are divided between the Palazzo delle Scienze, which houses the prehistoric, ethnographic, oriental and medieval collections, and the Palazzo delle arti e tradizioni, which houses the collections devoted to popular arts and traditions.
