An ethnological missionary museum in the Eternal City.
It was also in the Lateran Palace that the Missionary and Ethnological Museum was born in 1926, showing the works presented to the public in 1925 during the missionary exhibition of the Holy Year. Its collections then moved to the Vatican in 1973. One part of the museum is dedicated to ethnographic art pieces brought back by the missionaries from their evangelization expeditions, while the other part focuses on other religions.
